The beginning of the week we had a Teddy Bears picnic to celebrate the end of our very successful week!
OH NO! There was a problem with our water today, so we talked about all the things we can't do if we haven't got water! Then we wrote about our ideas!
We had to use hand gel to clean our hands!
We couldn't flush the toilet!
No water to play with!
"We can't wash our hands ....."
"We haven't any water to wash our hands."
We can't "boil our eggs!"
"We used the rain water....."
"We can't wash our hands......."
Today we completed our "Jumping" P.E. unit by thinking about how to make our routines more interesting by moving up the planks or benches in different ways. Look at what we have achieved....and we worked on making our jumps look good too. We jumped up first, we used our arms and we tried to point our toes before landing with bent knees. Have look and tell us what you think!

Where does water go? Today it was really sunny and the 'tuff spot' got hot. We put a little puddle of water and drew a chalk line around it. Some of our children predicted that the water would disappear because the sun was hot. All afternoon we observed the puddle as it got smaller and smaller! We didn't know where the water went to though, so next week our teachers will explain it to us!
