Reducing Water 19th May

We asked Severn Trent Water  to help keep us all on track by showing the whole school in assembly the little steps we can take together to save water.

Water is so precious and we are so thankful that we can use clean, safe water everyday.

Recycle Reuse Clothes

10th March 2016

Thanks to you for sending in your unwanted clothing, shoes and soft toys to help us look after our planet. 164kg of clothing will be reused or recycled by Bag2School. We have raised £6o.61 this week and the Eco councillors will be helping our school to decide what to spend this on.

'Please Help Yourselves' was also the Eco councillors message to our parents and carers after school on Wednesday. We had a bag of unamed school uniform, ,looking for a new owner. It was washed, put out on a table, and our Eco councillors did a great job with helping to reuse these clothes.

Counting and checking money from our game. It took us longer than we expected as there were so many coins.

Thank You!!

You raised an amazing £58.60! This will really help to keep our garden birds fed over the next few months.

Well done to Jessica  from Sparrows and Emily from Robins for their 'eggcellent' guesses and winning the prize eggs.

What a wonderful world!

We love nature at Birches Green, so Forest School and Outdoor Learning really help us to appreciate the wonderful world we live in and do what we can to look after it and protect it for the future.

Our eco councillors remind us that every small thing we do can make a difference to our wonderful world.
