A cheque of £200 was presented to Mr Steve Emery who represented the African Oster Trust following another really successful Business Enterprise Day. Every class in school are challenged to develop their entrepreneurial skills and create a business and make a profit from a starting point of a £20 loan from school fund.
This year , the businesses collectively made a total of £585.92 and some of this money is sent to the Hilary Emery Nursery School in the Gambia.
All of the classes did an amazing job, the judges (from local Businesses ) together with our Chair of Governors Mr Collinge, were particularly impressed with Kingfisher's Class (Winners) for their business and Nursery (Runners Up)
